The Jean Tweed Centre - Manager, Administration Services
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Manager, Administration Services is an extension of the Leadership Team and is responsible for the day-to-day office operations and administration of The Jean Tweed Centre. The Manager, Administration Services will lead the administrative team with multi-faceted services that provide administrative, operational, and technical support to various departments within the organization.

The Jean Tweed Centre is a leading not-for-profit community-based organization that provides treatment, support and a safe place for women looking to overcome challenges with substance use, gambling and mental health. By building life skills and healthy habits, we help our clients build a new start for a better future.
Today, the Jean Tweed Centre provides counselling and care to over 1,700 women and their families each year, with a focus on helping women overcome challenges with substance use, gambling and mental health.
We offer day and residential programs, clinical and therapeutic counselling and groups, gambling support groups, trauma services, support for mothers and caregivers, supportive housing, case management, justice programs, support to friends and family members, virtual services and licensed therapeutic child development centre.
Understanding each woman’s experience within the broader physical, emotional, social, cultural and gender framework, fosters our client-centered approach to health. Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations, IT/Infrastructure & HR Support
- Oversee the overall day-to-day office operations and administration of the Centre.
- Lead the administrative team, including monitoring reception, data entry, mail distributions and telephone and information technology system duties.
- Responsible for supporting the core infrastructure of the organization (Supply chain, PPE Equipment training, ordering supplies, etc.)
- Work in collaboration, where appropriate, with the Property Managers.
- Oversee the provision of day-to-day support and troubleshooting of desktop hardware/software issues and the telephone system for the Centre.
- HR Support functions including, on-boarding, and off-boarding, key distribution and digital access.
- Provide coordination and support across teams to enhance continuity and quality of care.
- Commit to practice job responsibilities with a harm reduction, trauma-informed, women-centered and anti-oppressive perspective.
Leadership

Education and Experience
- Business Administration degree or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of full-time progressive work experience in an operations or business administrative role.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- People management and customer service skills.
- Experience in the Non-Profit sector.
- Proficient in PC computer environment, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience in working with databases and a CRM environment.
Other Requirements
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License (Class G); access to a reliable vehicle with insurance.
- As a condition of employment you are required to provide updated COVID vaccinations in compliance with Public Health recommendations.

Compensation
- The hiring range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
