Director of Integrated Fundraising & Marketing, IFCJ of Canada
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Integrated Fundraising and Marketing is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the continued growth and further development of IFCJ Canada’s marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives.
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of fundraising strategies that will lead to greater efficacy in reaching and retaining donors – many of whom support our mission through sacrificial giving. As well, this position oversees brand management and strategy, creative production, and the organizational content strategy.

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada (IFCJ Canada), a philanthropic organization, was founded to promote better understanding and cooperation between Christians and Jews and to build broad support for Israel. Independently governed by a Canadian Board of Directors, IFCJ Canada, along with affiliate operations located in Israel, the United States, and South Korea, represents one of Israel’s largest philanthropic organizations delivering humanitarian programs aiding the elderly including Holocaust survivors, orphaned and at-risk populations in Israel, the former Soviet Union and other areas of the world.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Integrated Fundraising and Marketing is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the continued growth and further development of IFCJ Canada’s marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives.
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of fundraising strategies that will lead to greater efficacy in reaching and retaining donors – many of whom support our mission through sacrificial giving. As well, this position oversees brand management and strategy, creative production, and the organizational content strategy. These efforts must be achieved in collaboration with the Executive Director and other key stakeholders to ensure consistency and seamless integration of messaging.
Together with the Executive Director, work on the development of a future staffing plan to support the strategic growth of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy (30%)
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to IFCJ Canada’s mission and values.
- Ensure department strategies support and align with organizational strategic plan.
- Develop, lead and mentor high performing teams through effective collaboration, communication, leadership, and mentoring.
- Provide effective supervision, driving engagement and performance of direct reports.
- Establish and manage fundraising revenue targets.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices and quality standards in all fundraising activities.
- Set benchmarks based on organizational and industry standards, trends and KPIs to monitor progress in fundraising efforts.
- Provide regular progress reports, trend analysis, and identify opportunities for new strategies to the Executive Director.
- Consistently monitor outcomes and measure the performance of campaigns, driving improvements.
- Collaborate with global peers on strategy, program, and branding initiatives.
- Undertake other responsibilities as necessary to support IFCJ Canada’s strategic objectives.
Fundraising and Development (25%)
- Develop and execute integrated fundraising strategies across multiple channels: web, email, direct mail, social media, radio, and television and ensure that all KPIs are on target.
- Develop annual plans and provide monthly and quarterly reporting on channel performance.
- Collaborate with external partners and conduct market research and testing to inform and advance fundraising strategies.

Maintain and utilize up-to-date knowledge of non-profit market trends and integrated fundraising best practices.
Donor Engagement (20%)
- Lead, manage and actively engage in the stewardship of major and mid-level partners and donors to foster positive and enduring relationships.
- Develop and oversee effective prospect management strategies to identify new funding and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with donor representatives to lend expertise and to support consistency in applications for funding opportunities.
- Provide oversight and direction for the CRM database and donor contact strategies.
Marketing and Communications (15%)
- Define and enhance IFCJ Canada’s brand and impact on current and potential donors.
- Develop marketing and communications strategy plans consistent with the IFCJ Canada brand and image.
- Ensure the development of the organizational content strategy and execute brand strategy across all platforms.
- Oversee agency communications and marketing campaigns to improve IFCJ Canada’s marketplace positioning.
Operations and Administration (10%)
- Assist in the development and management of the annual budget for the department.
- Promote best practices in data management and donor communications, ensuring compliance with CRA guidelines for gift acceptance, accounting, acknowledgement, and donor management.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, resources, and consultant relationships, including budgeting and expenditure oversight.
Experience / Knowledge / Education
- University degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of senior leadership experience in Canadian non-profit management, demonstrating a strong track record in leadership and measurable results.
- Proven success in marketing, direct response fundraising, and donor acquisition, including strategy development, budgeting, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Extensive knowledge of Jewish and evangelical communities and their leadership throughout Canada.
- Experience in the non-profit sector, ideally with a faith-based organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work with major donors and secure substantial gifts (6+ figures).
- Strong expertise in process management, documentation, and direct response marketing techniques, including emergency response fundraising.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet search engines.
- Experience with CRM, data analytics, and donor databases with Raiser’s Edge experience as an asset.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $120,000.

Workplace Environment
The office is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario at the intersection of Adelaide and York Street. Work performed in a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of two (2) in-office days per week. May require extended hours during peak periods and non-traditional hours to perform job duties. May require participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.
